Friendship House® Certificate - is a program designed for places that promote Tech-Free Zones—spaces free from excessive technology, fostering real connections, preventing isolation, and reducing screen addiction.

In an era of digital isolation, our mission is to create spaces that minimize scrolling, encourage real-world interactions, and support community building.

Who is the Friendship House® Program for?

The program is available for:

✅ Businesses with physical locations (cafés, libraries, schools, sports halls, community hubs)

✅ Outdoor activities (e.g., sports clubs, outdoor social initiatives, recreational parks)

✅ Businesses and organizations operating in rented spaces but aligned with the Friendship House® values

If your business promotes human interaction and reduces technology's impact on social life, you can join the program and receive the Friendship House® certification!

Benefits for Your Space

Every certified location receives:

✅ A Friendship House® sticker for display on the building, stand, or meeting space

✅ A digital certificate for use on websites and social media

✅ Promotion within our network—listing in the Tech-Free Zones directory

✅ Credibility—recognition for fostering offline community engagement

✅ Partnership and networking opportunities—support for creating local initiatives and events

How Does Certification Work?

✅ The first 6 months of certification are FREE!

✅ After 6 months, an annual fee applies, based on business revenue.

✅ We reserve the right to visit the registered location (if possible) or conduct an online verification to ensure compliance with the program's principles.

✅ The badge is awarded for one year—after 12 months, recertification is required.

Certification Packages (first 6 months free)

1️⃣ Micro-businesses & Startups (annual revenue up to £20,000)
- Annual fee: £15
- For small businesses and startups promoting tech-free spaces.
- Includes full support, a sticker, and a digital certificate.

2️⃣ Small Businesses & Organizations (annual revenue £20,000 - £50,000)
- Annual fee: £30
- For established businesses promoting Tech-Free Zones.
- Additional promotion on our social media channels.

3️⃣ Medium Businesses & Organizations (annual revenue £50,000 - £100,000)
- Annual fee: £50
- For businesses and organizations with higher revenues that emphasize real-world connections and technology reduction.
- Increased visibility in the Friendship House® directory.

4️⃣ Large Businesses & Organizations (annual revenue £100,000 - £250,000)
- Annual fee: £75
- For successful businesses supporting Tech-Free Zones and social integration.
- Opportunity to host events under the Friendship House® banner.

5️⃣ Businesses & Organizations with revenue over £250,000
- Annual fee: £100+ (customized agreements)
- For large-scale organizations looking to become official Friendship House® partners.
- Full promotional support and strategic partnership.

How to Apply?

1️⃣ Ensure your space includes at least a minimal Tech-Free Zone.
2️⃣ Fill out the application form.
3️⃣ Upon approval, receive your sticker, certificate, and promotional materials.
4️⃣ After 6 months, decide whether to renew your certification (according to the selected package).
